The new CD is almost done! We've done all the instrumentation, leads and backing vocals, and several levels of mixing - and are now doing the last few mixing refinements. Which is just as well, because we do mastering on the 12th!

So... It's called "A Perfect Alibi" and will be out on June 1. We're still only listening to interim mixes, and it is hard to hear it being so close for so long, but... it is sounding really awesome. The songs are really strong across the board, and there's a great groove, and depth and dynamics across the range. A real step up.

It makes me reflect on the really positive things about being in a band (or at least this band). Working with a bunch of incredibly talented people, who bring a whole new set of ideas / approaches, and create something much bigger and better than you could ever do on your own. Individual songs and the whole project have changed and grown and shifted and just got better and better. I'm in awe...
